The church was erected in 1678, with a spire added two years later.
The nave and chancel are covered by a common polygonal shingled roof. The church interior is decorated by polychrome work with baroque features, and has C19th late-baroque altars. The main one contains sculptures of St. Mary Magdalene and St. Peter and St. Paul. On the walls you can see C17th Stations of the Cross, while on the rood beam there is a crucifix and C17th baroque figures of Our Lady and St. John, which are cut from planks. Also noteworthy is the C17th wall font. Worth seeing in the area! The village is situated in the Island Beskids, at an altitude of 480-660 m a.s.l, between the peaks of Lubogoszcz, Śnieżnica, Ćwilin and Wierzbanowska Mountain. The highest Polish railway line from Nowy Sącz to Chabówka runs through Kasina. On the western slopes of Śnieżnica belonging to Kasina, there is the ski lift.
